CASology - week 191

Ah - I love having time to relax and stamp during the week!! I am back with another card. This one is for CASology week #191 - cue card - WASHI.  Washi tape, hmmm. So I started digging around in my stamp room and I found some unopened Washi tape! I bet I have had it for years and never even opened it. Well, today was a good day to open it up!

Here is my clean and simple card featuring WASHI tape!

Stamps and anchor die are from Lawn Fawn. Background dies are Mama Elephant. Washi tape is from Queen and Co.

Thanks for stopping by!

Color yourself!

Today's card I made just for fun. Feeling a little blue and out of sorts. Then I remembered I had this cute stamp that I had never inked up. Felt like just the perfect thing for today!

I cut a circle from watercolor paper, stamped the words and then embossed them. Next I took some blue Distress ink and made a splatter background, I then added some green and then a spritz of gold.

I cut the scallop circle from some gingham paper I had and then layered it onto a white panel.

Some pretty sequins for bling. I didn't have enough of the gingham paper so I made another card with different paper.

This card I used more blue ink.

Funny how the same card can look so different by just changing a couple of things!

Here are the ingredients I used:

Scalloped die and the sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh. Stamp is from Inkadinkado!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Inspired by all the little things.....

I found another challenge blog! OH BOY! Lol Any reason at all to keep stamping! Inspired by all the little things!  The inspiration for this weeks challenge is this photo:

Love the colors and of course the succulents! Just back from a trip to Arizona, myself, I dug out this old Copper Creek collections stamp and made this card:

I watercolored the image. The dies are from Lil Inker Designs. I smudged the edges with some chalk ink. Then I added a few sequins and a bit of twine.

Thanks for visiting today.  I hope you will come by again soon!

Freshly Made Sketches # 229

Feeling kind of blue on this dreary day in Minnesota, so I made a spring themed card. I love the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches this week. It worked really well with this old Magenta stamp I have had in my collection forever!

I used square dies from Nestabilites and the silly stitched dies from Lil Inker designs.

I masked the stamp so I could stamp a flower in each square. I cut the squares from watercolor paper and colored with Tombow markers and a bit of Wink of Stella markers.

This is the sketch:

I hope you can find a little spring in your day today!
Thanks for stopping today - see you soon!

Mojo Monday 440

Happy Monday! I am playing along with Mojo Monday today! My card today uses a new die cut I just got from Pretty Pink Posh.

I love the look of black and white. It just looks so clean and sharp!
I think it works well with this sketch!

Detail view:

The word die is from Simon says stamp. I cut the word out of white paper first and then out of black paper then adhered them together to make it a little more sturdy. I then popped it up with mounting tape for dimension.
Papers are from Lawn Fawn

Tag you're It - challenge #43

I'm baaaack! This card is for Tag You're It! challenge #43.  This was our inspiration tag:

My inspiration from this gorgeous tag was the color choice and also to use just a word stamp on my tag.

Here is my card:

I used a new die cut set from Simon Says Stamp Dress up tags. What a fun die set! SOOOO many things you can do with it! I also used the large circle and large frame from the Silly Stitched Die set from Lil Inker Designs. The top of the tag uses a piece of pattern paper from Lawn Fawn, I used some Versamark chalk ink to distress the tag and add a little color. Pearls from Kaiser craft for a little bling. Stamp is from PrintWorks. Ribbon from SU!

I rubbed a little of chalk ink on the silly circle to bring out the pattern. Im pretty happy with how this turned out! Thanks for stopping today! See you again soon!
