Here is my tag:

I used a tag set from Mama Elephant.
To color the tag, I did direct to paper using one of my new
Hero Arts Ombre ink pads. The stamps are from Unity Stamps.

Hello!! Happy Thursday! It's a treat to be able to post in this challenge early this time!  I am participating in Freshly Made Sketches #241!

Here is the sketch this week:

For my card I used a fun set from Sugar Pea Designs.

I am loving my Ombre inks from Hero Arts!!

I added a bit of glossy accents to the lips for some shine!

I usually leave the inside of my cards blank, but these words just fit so perfectly.

Thanks for visiting today!  MAUH!!!

Tag You're it Challenge #49

Back once again! This time with my submission for Tag You're it Challenge 49.

My inspiration from this beautiful tag was to make a white card with a tag in blues.

I stamped the image in Ombre ink, the blue pad. I used a direct to paper technique to create the top layer of the tag.

I love the clean look of white cards. I added a bit of Wink of Stella for a little shine. Frame die cut is from Mama Elephant. I think these Ombre inks are going to become a favorite of mine!

Thanks for stopping by today. Until next time - Barb

Freshly Made Sketches # 240

Back again with my card for Freshly Made Sketches # 240. I used my newest favorite stamps set from My Favorite Things - Lucky Dog.

The papers are from Memory Box. Thought I'd try something different and use a purple theme. I colored the scotty with Peerless Watercolors. They are really nice watercolors! Very vibrant and easy to blend.

A touch of clear Wink of Stella and some Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

And, just for fun - here is a picture of MY Lucky Dog, Josie.

Thanks for visiting today! See you soon!

Cas(e) this Sketch # 176

Hello - happy Sunday! Today's card is for Cas(e) this Sketch # 176. Another fun sketch!

My favorite 'go to' die cut is my Coffee cup die set from Lil Inker Designs. I love making coffee cards. They are just so much fun to do!

The frame die is from Mama Elephant, no idea what company the flag is from. I hand-doodled the steam, sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Hmmm - I think a trip to Caribou Coffee is in order today!
Thanks for visiting! Hope to see you again.

Cas(e) this Sketch #175

Back again with my card for Cas(e) this Sketch 175. I like the sketch this week!

For my card - I dug out an old Hero Arts shadow stamp. It worked great for this sketch.

The dog stamp is from My Favorite Things - Lucky Dog set.  I think the dog looks sorry doesn't he? lol   I used 2 distress inks on the shadow stamp. Really like how that turned out! I colored the dog image with Spectrum Noir markers.

Thanks for stopping by! Come back again!

CASology week 200

Hello - today I am entering this card in the CASology challenge. The cue card this week is CAS.

Clean and simple! Here is my card:

This card uses an Amuse set I have had in my collection forever! I thought it would be fun to use to for this card.

I used Tombow markers to color the image and a black gaze pen to enhance the word 'Dad'.
Thanks for visiting today! Stop by again!
