Tag You're It

Hello! I am back with a tag for the Tag You're it Challenge #48.

This was a fun challenge. A good theme for Memorial day weekend and looking ahead to summer and the Fourth of July holiday! I took my inspiration from this tag to create a patriotic tag.

I dug way back into my  stamp collection to find this SU! stamp from 2001! It was a special edition stamp they made in honor of the 9/11 tragedy. I think it works pretty well for this weeks theme!

I colored directly onto the stamp with Tombow markers. Added a few gems for sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Barb

Very happy with how this card turned out! I used die cuts from Sugar Pea Designs - what ever the weather.

A little bit of foam tape gives just the right amount of dimension.  Just a nice happy card.

Cas(e) this sketch #170

Ok , I admit it, this sketch from Case(e) this sketch scared me at first. I thought I would skip this week, but the more I looked at it, the more determined I became to overcome my fear and make a card!

Here is the sketch:

Here is my version of this sketch:

Paper is from My Minds eye, Hugs die cut is Mama Elephant.
Stitched dies are Lil Inker Designs.
Some simple cuts with a paper cutter and viola!
Nothing fancy or difficult, but I am happy with the end result!
