Well I seem to have found another challenge blog that I can't resist!
It is the challenge blog Tag You're It! I am so excited - I love tags!!! Thought I would jump right in ! So here is the tag we are to use for inspiration:

What a beautiful tag! I took my inspiration from the lovely flowers she used as well as the color pink! Here is the tag I made:

This tag die is from Mama Elephant. Love this die! The flower dies cuts are Lil Inker Designs and the paper is from My Mind's Eye. Rhinestones added for sparkle!

Just a little tag, but I think it would make a really cute addition to a gift for someone! Thanks for stopping today!  Come back again!

CAS(E) this sketch #163

Today's card is for CAS(E) this sketch # 163.  I have to admit this sketch was a little intimidating for me! Guess it's good to stretch my imagination once in a while! Here is the sketch:

Had to think about this one a bit but here is what I came up with:

I inked up an old Hero Arts shadow stamp with some Distress inks in varying colors of yellow and orange. The lamp stamp  (Unity Stamps) is stamped in Versafine black ink. I then added a little Wink of Stella markers for a bit of sparkle. Die cuts are from Mama Elephant. A few rhinestones for extra bling.

These are the inks and stamps I used. Thanks for stopping by today!

CASology- Laugh Featuring Unity Stamps

Hello! I am entering this card in the CASology challenge - key word LAUGH. I immediately though of my Unity Stamp collection. They have some really great funny stamps! The trick on this challenge blog is to keep your card clean and simple. Something I struggle with but I like the look.
So here is my card:

The stamp is "crappy day" from Unity Stamps. I cut a rectangle panel using Lil Inker Designs stitched mats die cut, then I fussy cut out the toilet paper roll and added a touch of color with watercolor crayons and a bit of Wink of Stella markers. I misted the panel with a couple of sprays of Heidi Swapp's color shine in gold. I just need a little sparkle I guess!
Here is a detail shot:

I hope my card made you laugh! Thanks for stopping by!

Sketch Saturday #403 - Mom + Me by Lawn Fawn

Greetings and happy Saturday! I am playing along with Sketch Saturday today. I inked up my new set from Lawn Fawn - Mom + me and made this cute card!

I stamped the stump in Versamagic chalk ink and the owls in Versafine black ink. Cut the images out using the Lawn cuts coordinating dies. The banner dies are from Sixxix. Paper is from My Minds Eye & SU. I colored the images with colored pencils then added Wink of Stella for some sparkle. I popped the images up with some mounting tape to add dimension. Then I added a few rhinestones for fun.

This is the sketch I followed:
I give my blog much needed facelift! Complete with a name change. I hope you like the changes. Thanks for visiting today! I hope you will stop by again soon!

Ode to Caribou Coffee - featuring Lil Inker Designs

This card was featured on Lil Inker Designs You Made it Monday!
(blog post previously published on 2/13/16, on Barb's Best Creations blog)
Hello there! I am back with a cute card I made with my newest die set from Lil Inker Designs! They updated their Coffee Cozy Die set and I just had to add it to my collection!

I love my Caribou Coffee!

Here is my card:
I am all about anything that has stitching on it! When I saw Lil Inkers updated this set with stitching on the cozy, score lines on the lid (that adds such dimension!) and also the adorable steam, I had to have this set!

I took a real Caribou coffee cozy and used the die cut to cut out the Caribou logo. The large heart is a Memory Box die, the small hearts and the stitched mats are Lil Inkers.  Paper is from Stampin' up. Words are from Lil Inker Designs Coffee talk stamp set.

Life is short - stay awake for it! Thank for visiting today!
See you next time!
