Casology 219

Hello I am back agin - this time with a card for the Casology challenge. Cue card : SPOOKY. Perfect for fall!

I love Halloween cards!

My card uses a very vintage Penny Black stamp. The stamp is dated 1998! 

Guess I have been stamping for a while! lol

Here is my card:

Spooky ghosts! I created the background by using distress inks on watercolor paper using the direct to paper technique. When I got the color intensity I wanted, I spritzed a bit of water, heat set it and then spritzed a bit of gold shimmer. I painted the moon with Distress inks, and added a bit of clear Wink of Stella to the ghosts.

Tag You're it Challenge #51

I'm back with my tag entry for Tag You're it Challenge #51.  I had a blast being the guest designer for the last challenge!! Here is the beautiful inspiration tag this time:

Pretty tag! I took inspiration from this tag to use a watercolor background, a flower and words on my tag.

Here is my tag:

I dug out my rolled rose die from My Favorite things and made some rolled roses. For the background I did a splatter technique using Distress inks and a little bit of gold paint. 

The word stamp is from Penny Black.
