Tag You're it Challenge #51

I'm back with my tag entry for Tag You're it Challenge #51.  I had a blast being the guest designer for the last challenge!! Here is the beautiful inspiration tag this time:

Pretty tag! I took inspiration from this tag to use a watercolor background, a flower and words on my tag.

Here is my tag:

I dug out my rolled rose die from My Favorite things and made some rolled roses. For the background I did a splatter technique using Distress inks and a little bit of gold paint. 

The word stamp is from Penny Black.

Freshly Made Sketches # 244

Hello! Today I am playing along with Freshly Made Sketches #244.  Another nice sketch this week!

It was fun to pull out my oval dies for this card! I use a stamp and die set from Paper Smooches called Surf and Turf.

The embossing folder I used is from Stamping Up. I did speckled the oval with Distress ink in faded denim and added a splash of gold. A little glossy accents and clear Wink of Stella for a bit of shine.

Freshly Made Sketches #243

Hello and happy July! Summer is just flying by us! I am happy to have a few days off for the holiday. Hoping to catch up on some stamping. My card today is for Freshly Made Sketches #243. Super nice sketch this week - so many possibilities!

For my card I used a Lawn Fawn set. Thought it was a good one to use for a summery card!

The pretty plaid paper is from Lawn Fawn as well. I colored the scoop with wink of stella markers and then added a few sequins for sparkle.

I used a bit of Hero Arts Ombre ink to create the shadow around the circle.
